Independence Movement Walking Tour

On this 90-minute, small-group walking tour of Philadelphia’s Old City and Society Hill, learn about the beginning of the United States of America. Our trained guides will start of the tour at Independence National Historical Park, home of to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. From there, we’ll walk along cobblestone streets and narrow alleys to see Christ Church, Carpenters’ Hall, Elfreth’s Alley, the Betsy Ross House, the First Bank, the Quaker Meeting House, and Benjamin Franklin’s Grave, to name just a few of the many sights and landmarks along the way. This walking tour is designed to educate and entertain, providing participants with information about the Founding Father’s struggle for Independence and building of a foundation for the new world.
